Secure the cloud beyond the checklist.

Assess cloud configurations, workloads, access, and network architecture across modern infrastructure.

Overview

Cloud security depends on architecture, identity, workload configuration, and operational practices. Assessments help teams understand risky trust relationships, misconfigurations, and where controls should be strengthened.

An assessment is time- and scope-bounded. Findings describe the tested conditions; they do not establish the absence of all vulnerabilities or guarantee a security outcome.

What the engagement examines

  • AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud security reviews
  • Identity and privilege boundary assessment
  • Cloud workload and container security
  • Network segmentation and exposure assessment
  • Logging, backup, and infrastructure hardening

The work in practice

Begin with a map of accounts, subscriptions, workloads and trust relationships. Establish read-only access where feasible and identify who can approve changes. An internet-exposed service, a broad role assignment and an untested backup are different risks, so findings need context rather than one generic score. Implementation should be tracked separately from assessment, with planned changes, verification and recovery steps agreed by the environment owner.

Useful outputs. Not vague assurances.

  • Cloud architecture and control gap report
  • Prioritized findings and configuration guidance
  • Identity and access improvement recommendations
  • Cloud security hardening roadmap

What you receive

  • Reduce misconfiguration and privilege risk
  • Improve visibility into cloud assets
  • Align cloud change with secure operations

Clear decisions. Traceable delivery.

Scope & authorize

Agree on objectives, owners, boundaries, exclusions and the evidence needed to answer the question.

Review & validate

Perform the authorized work and record observations. Escalate critical findings through the agreed channel.

Explain & prioritize

Connect technical observations to business impact, practical actions and remaining uncertainties.

Handover & follow up

Review findings with your team and agree on any implementation or retest as a separate, traceable step.

Insights

What should your business IT support plan actually cover?

Look beyond a list of tools. A useful support plan makes ownership, recovery and everyday decisions explicit — and gives you evidence that the work was done.

Before we get started.

Service scope, delivery terms and availability are agreed individually.

Can cloud assessments span more than one provider?

Yes, subject to agreement on scope, access, and the relevant technology stack.

Will you make changes to our live environment?

Any changes require separate authorization and a clear implementation or change-management plan. An assessment alone does not imply production changes.

What is needed before an engagement starts?

A confirmed scope, authorized owners, relevant access and agreed operating constraints. We do not begin intrusive testing based only on a general enquiry.

Will an assessment automatically change production systems?

No. Assessment and implementation are separate permissions. Any change requires approval, validation and an appropriate recovery plan.
